We had the pleasure to stay at the Hotel Caravel in Sorrento recently which we thoroughly enjoyed, all the staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was clean and well looked after. The restaurant was very well run with waiter service, which made the holiday, there was also a good choice of food on the menu everyday. The bar staff did a delicious lunch menu which could be enjoyed out on the terrace. The reception staff spoke good english, and could arrange trips for you to see the beautiful sights of Italy. It was fabulous.
