The Caravel Hotel lies in the pleasant and quiet village of Sant'Agnello, almost 1.5 km from the old town centre of Sorrento. Not far from  the station of Circumvesuviana of Sant'Agnello at almost 20 metres from the bus stop, the hotel lies in a strategical position. The Circumvesuviana is a metropolitan line linking the towns in the Vesuvian area with the city of Naples. The line Naples-Sorrento makes stops at the stations of the most frequented tourist centres like Herculaneum Excavations, Oplonti, Pompeii excavations, Castellammare di Stabia. Trains leave every thirty minutes and areduplicated in the months of the greatest tourist flow.

At just 200 metres, then, by walking along comfortable and safe pavements and by using a proper lift, there si a typical Sorrento beach: the Marinella, among the most frequented and characteristic beaches in the Sorrento Coast, surmounted by a splendid terrace dropping sheer to the sea, which is almost 40 metres high. Here we can find an enchanting landscape, thanks to which it is possible to admire the sea of Sorrento, the whole Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius. The beach is equipped with a private sea establishment with bar and restaurant, showers and possibility to hire pedalos,   which the hotel Caravel has established a convection to special price.

From the Caravel hotel, with a short walk, it is possible to reach easily the beautiful and rich shopping area of Sorrento or that of Sant'Agnello.
In order to make  any holiday in the Amalfi and Sorrento Coast even more comfortable, moreover, the facility puts at its guests' disposal also a handy service of free transport. This "shuttle service" leaves from our hotel and arrives up to the Correale Museum of Sorrento, thus allowing anyone to visit a wonderful museum facility and to be ale to reach easily the old town centre, too.

From the Correale Museum to the Caravel Hotel: 10,05 a.m.; 12,30 p.m.; 5,35 p.m.; 8,35 p.m. (except for Saturdays and Sundays); 8,45 p.m. (except for Saturdays and Sundays); 8,45 p.m. (except for Saturdays and Sundays).
