We could not fault the Caravel in any way! All staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Our room (on the 4th floor) had a large balcony and wonderful view towards the bay with Vesuvius to the right majestically pushing through the mist. The whole ambience of the Caravel was perfect: it was clean and tidy and we particularly appreciated the bottle of champagne, courtesy of the Owner/Manager, sent to our room as we were celebrating our 40th Anniversary! Any minus points? None really, apart from possibly mentioning no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but we gather this is normal in Italy. Well done, Hotel Caravel – we hope to return!
