Had paid supplement for room with balcony and then sent e-mail to hotel requesting a room with a sea view if at all possible. Received reply ‘we will do our best to assign you a room with a good view’ Was allocated a room with a tiny balcony overlooking garden whereas some members of our group, who had not paid supplements, were allocated large balconies overlooking the sea. Felt treated in a contempteous way by hotel and would certainly not return.
