Location

Caravel Hotel is located in Sant’Agnello, about 1,5 km away from Sorrento historical center. 

Not far from the Circumvesuviana station in Sant’Agnello and about 20 meters from the bus stop, the hotel has a strategic location. The Circumvesuviana is a train line that connects the towns around Mount Vesuvius to Naples. The Naples-Sorrento line has stops in the most important tourist towns like Ercolano Scavi, Oplonti, Pompei Scavi, Castellammare di Stabia. Trains depart about every 30 minutes and the number of trains increases in high season.

At about 200 meters from the hotel there is the typical Sorrento beach called Marinella. At the beach club there is a restaurant, showers and the opportunity to rent pedal boats; the hotel has an agreement for special prices.

From Caravel Hotel, with a short walk, you can easily reach the beautiful and lively shopping areas in Sorrento and in Sant’Agnello.

How to reach us

From the highway

From any direction you are coming from, take the A3 highway Naples - Salerno. Follow the route Salerno/Reggio Calabria – Sorrento Peninsula up to the exit Castellammare di Stabia. Continue along the SS 145 up to Sant’Agnello. Pass Vico Equense, Meta and Piano di Sorrento up to Sant’Agnello. Once you arrive in the square where there is the church and the pharmacy, turn right, continue on Via Crawford and after 100 meters you can see the hotel on your right.

From the train station

It takes about one hour from "Napoli - Stazione Centrale" (Naples – Central Station) or "Napoli - Piazza Garibaldi" to reach Sant’ Agnello. Once at the Naples station take the train "Napoli - Sorrento". Once you arrive in Sant’Agnello (last stop before the end of the line), go out from the station and take the right along Corso Italia. Continue up to the second street on the right, "Via Crawford". Go straight on. At the end of the street on the right you can see the hotel.

From the airport

If you land at the "Capodichino" airport, the easiest way to reach Sorrento is to take the bus, CURRERI line, that departs from the square in front of the airport. The departure times from Naples are: 09.00 – 11.00 – 12.00 – 13.00 – 14.30 – 15.30 – 16.30 – 18.00 – 19.30.

Ask the driver to stop in Sant’Agnello main square, in front of the Municipal House. Walk along Corso Italia, direction Sorrento and continue straight up to the third street on the right, ‘Via Crawford’. Go straight on and after 200 meters on your right there is the hotel.
